You know how addictive game development can be. Once you tried it, you want to the rush and anticipation go on. For the last couple of months we’ve been busy building Dataspin.io. But all this time we couldn’t help wondering what game(s) we could build and how we would monetize them with Dataspin. What’s the best way to demonstrate how Dataspin.io can be used to help you respond better to your players community, improve monetization of your game and make your life easier? Do it yourself and showcase your own game. And share the results. If you look at forums like makingmoneywithandroid.com it is evident that game devs want to share and appreciate sharing. They talk about how monetize their titles, what works, what doesn’t. Post mortems are also very popular.

So our idea is to publish a free-to-play game with several monetization tools built in. We’ll be updating you on the figures, both sweet and bitter. It is not our aim to make money on this game – or at least it’s not our primary goal. We want to share stuff with the community, show you what works and help you avoid our mistakes.

The game concept is quite simple: it’s an asynchronous multiplayer quiz game. We wanted to come up with something simple fast.
